It is mandatory to monitor the quality management system what has been adapted already inside the organization. In this clause number 9 of ISO 9001 it is told about performance evaluation, monitoring the qms system inside the processes of any ISO certified company.
This monitoring can be done by taking customer survey and customer feedback of your products or services, It can also be measured by taking complements, warranty claims and dealer reports.

Data Analysis and Evaluation is another method to see the performance of qms. In this regards various data including conformity of products and services, magnitude of customer satisfaction, effectiveness of qms, the planning, actions taken for risks and opportunities, external providers performance, the need for improvements to the qms etc.

Internal Audit:
To check the qms magnitude it is mandatory to do internal audit(IA). IA confirms the effectiveness of qms in the processes. For performing IA the company can do internal audit twice in a year. This audit results can be recorded for further analysis. CA Plan should be taken for raising any NC during the audit.

Management Review:
After performing internal audit the report should be shared with the top management through a meeting is called Management Review Meeting(MRM).The top management shall review the organization’s quality management system twice in a year. It is standard practice. However it can vary considering the company’s strategic policy.
In the MRM some other things like feedback from the interested parties, status of objectives, products or services conformity, NC and CA Plan, Monitoring and measurement results, performance of external providers, adequacy of resources, effectiveness of actions against risk & opportunities etc. Those things are input. After discussing those inputs, Output should come from the MRM where opportunities for improvement, changes to the qms and any resource needs
